I have been wanting to make a CD of U2's best remixes spanning the 80's and 90's... ok, maybe I'll have to make two discs.

I was hoping that maybe you guys could tell what you think are their best remixes and why. For example which remix of EBTTRT should I burn?????? THERE ARE TOO MANY!!!

lol I have a lot of the ATYCLB remixes, but that is pretty much it. So before I go collecting... guide me in my journey!

anything with 'Perfecto' in the title is golden. the appollo 440 mix of ebttrt is excellent. check out the grand jury mix of igwsha, it is superior to the album version imo. of course extended dance mix lady with the spinning head is always great(as is any lwtsh

). from the eighties the ones that jump out are that johnny viscious club house mix of wtshnn and i really like the kevorkian mix of nyd.

hope that helps, bit of a jumble of letters but they are out there, enjoy

Let me just say that it must be the MoFo explicit remix. Except no substitutes.

Keepin it krunk...

There's only room for one and here she comes, here she comes...

Kobayashi pretty much covered the best ones IMO, but here are a few others..

Elevation influx mix

Stuck in a Moment acoustic -- nice different version
Mofo Phunk Phorce mix -- a really nice remix, definitely worth a listen. it doesn't compare to the original but it definitely is good
Beautiful Day Quincy & Sonance mix -- almost as good as the album version, IMO
Please single mix
wink.gif
-- just a nice remix, plain and simple
The Lounge Fly mix -- almost a completely different song. I am a huge, huge huge huge fan of the Fly and this one is really good

A few more..

Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses Temple Bar edit -- I like this better than the album version, even if it does cut some of the singing off..
Lemon Perfecto mix -- veeeery nice remix
Lemon Bad Yard Club mix -- really good remix, I love it

Salome Zooromance mix (I confess: I've never heard the original Salome. How different is it from this mix?)
Mysterious Ways remixes -- sorry, I don't have the list of the mixes right now

but they are all very good and definitely worth looking into

Discotheque (Hexidecimal Mix)
Please (Single Mix)
If God Will Send His Angels (Single Mix)
All Perfecto Mixes (Mysterious Ways, Lemon, Numb, Beautiful Day, Daddy's Gonna Pay for Your Crashed Car, and Even Better Than the Real Thing)
Elevation (Influx Remix)
Elevation (Quincey and Sonance Remix)
Beautiful Day (David Holmes)

Mysterious Ways (Ultimatum Mix)
Numb (EBN Mix)
Happiness Is a Warm Gun (Danny Saber Mix)

Some of these can be found on official releases. Some on bootlegs/fruitlegs and some you'll just have you scour the internet for. Good luck.

I'm currently downloading remixes too! I want to make a cd of Mofo remixes, but I'm not too keen on the ones that don't even resemble Mofo! what are the best ones that don't stray to far from the original?

So far I have romin,explicit,rock 2000 r&r doggie mix.
Romin mix is pretty cool!
