The Fly
I just realized this, but Achtung, Baby turned 10 years old in November. Can you believe it? It was the first album that I actually knew the release date of and that I bought as soon as I could after release. At that point I only had JT and R&H, and I had heard "Bad" somewhere, but still didn't know which album it was on.
I already had the Fly single, of course, and was getting into the sound, but I was still a little surprised & put off by some of the tracks on Achtung, Baby the first time I listened to it(zoo station!, Even Better, Until, etc). I remember liking One, WGRYWH, and Tryin' right away. In retrospect, I realize that the album changed my life, of course.
