I know what Bono is going through....my own Dad died over 3 years ago.....Like Bono, I had to get on with my life despite what happened but my Dad will never be forgotten.....

It must have been real hard for Bono to have fought his own feelings every night at concert and then fly over to be with his Da. That was incredibly brave *applause*

Changing the subject.....So the recording of a new album/songs is gonna happen....alright! woo hoo! Cant wait to hear more about that!

aww sorry to hear that Douggie....I lost my dad too, back in 94...but was never that close to him, so dont miss him as much (sounds bad I know but I really never was).......however some shots of Bono upset me a little as they look similar to my dad...................in fact when my dad was younger he looked like George Harrison did in his 20s with the long beard and hair, all dark.............very handsome

if I lost my mum tomorrow I'd be lost, really lost...............

yea, heres hoping the band hit Belfast!!!!!!

and that I KNOW about it!!!!!

(if so) dont go to the Odyssey boys, the acoustics would be shit..........pick Botanic again.

John was born in May, so he's about 7 months old. The writer probably just wanted to round up.

That part about Eli and the planes is very cute and also very sad.

It kinda makes you feel selfish when you think about how much you want U2 to keep touring and make a new album and such when they have families at home that they miss.

I don't know about all of you, but Bono's dad dying has really made me think lately. I think about the fact that both of his parents are dead. I'm 19, and I still live with my parents. I have never really thought too much about them dying. I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I don't know what I'd do. It's a scary feeling.
