Mine is ATYCLB...I don't know why...I guess part of it is that Bono looks so darn adorable. *lol*

So...what's your favorite cover?

I like that cover because it represents the drastic changes they were making with their music. Like the music, that cover implied their change in musical direction. Whereas their previous record covers were simple and void of lots of color, Achtung Baby's cover popped right out at you and grabbed you in a different way than the covers of previous releases. It was a mish-mash of images, the bright colors generating excitement. Also I think the images on the sleeve formed a sort of collage of ideas and concepts, much like the music on the record did.

Of course those are my opinions and my opinions only, but that's what I got from the cover art and it happens to be my favorite. I still think out of all their records the two that stand out the most, the two that are instantly recognizable as being U2 records, would have to be the covers of Joshua Tree and Rattle and Hum. If you wore either image on a t-shirt, people know right away that you're wearing a U2 t-shirt.

OK, I'll shut up now.

Mine is definitely UF. It's beautiful and it seems to suit the record really well. I also like JT, but NOT the blurry version. I have a poster of the non-blurry version on my wall.

ATYCLB might be my third favourite.

All That You Can't Leave Behind

That "J3-33" destination sign and the band "waiting for a flight" pose is absolutely priceless.

The Unforgettable Fire and The Joshua Tree are also notable mentions.

Zooropa and POP
