Favorite Non-U2 Side Project?

Hey there ladies & gents. I've been thinking (and listening) about the various U2 side-projects that the members have been involved in, and have wondered what your favorites are. Here's a list of some of the songs they've been attributed to...

In the Name of the Father (Bono and Gavin Friday)

Two Shots of Happy, One Shot of Sad (Bono and Edge)

American Prayer (Bono and Dave Stewart)

Mission: Impossible (Larry Mullen and Adam Clayton)

One (Automatic Baby - Larry Mullen and Adam Clayton)

Boy, Boy, Boy (Underworld w/ Larry Mullen)

Goldeneye (Bono and Edge)

Save the Children (Bono)

Children of the Revolution (Bono, Gavin Friday, and Maurice Seezer)

Slide (Michael Hutchence w/ Bono)
Bono’s Music Videos – Listen free at Last.fm

Hallelujah (Bono)
Bono’s Music Videos – Listen free at Last.fm

I Am the Walrus (Bono)
Bono’s Music Videos – Listen free at Last.fm

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (Bono)
Bono’s Music Videos – Listen free at Last.fm

If You Wear That Velvet Dress (Bono and Jools Holland)

A Dying Sailor to His Shipmates (Bono)
Bono’s Music Videos – Listen free at Last.fm

Heroine (Edge from "Captive" soundtrack with Sinead O'Connor)

In a Lifetime (Clannad and Bono)
Clannad & Bono’s Music Videos – Listen free at Last.fm

When the Stars Go Blue (The Corrs w/ Bono)
Bono’s Music Videos – Listen free at Last.fm

What's Going On (Bono and a bunch of other people)

What's Going On (Bono and Chris Martin)

I've Got You Under My Skin (Sinatra and Bono)
Bono’s Music Videos – Listen free at Last.fm

Do They Know It's Christmas? (Band Aid - Bono, Adam Clayton)

Do They Know It's Christmas? (Band Aid 20 - Bono)

Personally, my favorites are "In the Name of the Father" (fantastic film, too) and "I've Got You Under My Skin" ...though "Do They Know It's Christmas" is probably my favorite Christmas song (the original, of course...). What about the Interference crew - your favorites? I'm sure I've forgotten quite a few, so by all means, have at it.

It's probably not the best but I have always liked that version of When the Stars Go Blue that you mentioned.

In The Name of The Father is one of the best songs of the 90's. God that song is great.

How is Two Shots Of Happy, One Shot Of Sad Non-U2? It was a b-side on the If God Will Send His Angels single.

The Captive soundtrack is nothing short of fantastic. Definitely my favourite non-U2 release, unless you're one of those types who doesn't consider Passengers a U2 album.

In A Lifetime's also pretty damn good.

Ian McCulloch the U2 fan:
"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

I like the two songs w/ the Corrs, Bono & Chris Martin's version of What's Going On, Bono & Michael Hutchense's Slide Away, and Larry & Adam's Mission Impossible.

Yep, although I'd rate In a Lifetime even higher.

I like a few on that list a lot. I really like Bono's Dying Sailor To His Shipmates, and I don't see it listed there but also Bono's Dreaming With Tears in My Eyes.

I definitely love the two songs he did with the Corrs.

Also, the Tony Bennet duet "I wanna be around" and the song he did with Alicia Keys "Don't give up"

Bono also recorded a song with Mick Jagger for his solo album: "Joy"
