I became a hardcore fan in 1984, I can't say I *love* POP but I like it a whole lot more than Zooropa, I'll say that much. What 'Gone' and 'Please' became, especially live, are f*ing amazing.

I became a fan in 1987. I hated Pop when it first came out, but I started listening to it again a couple of years ago and realized it was a good album that a lot of people didn't give a chance - including me. 
I'm not sure I love it, but I really like it a lot.
