It was hard for me to knock Achtung Baby off it's perch. But I had to face the truth.... ATYCLB has just had a much greater impact on my life. The last 3 in that order were not difficult for me at all. What was hard was the 5-8 albums. I still may not have the order right.

First three are life defining. Boy is shooting up rapidly. Never been able to really get into War or October.

Few things: Achtung, Baby! is my absolute favorite album of all time so it kind of gets distance from the pack.

I believe Pop to be very underrated and I'm guessing that many have similar feelings on this site.

I could never really get into War, I guess it just didnt really age well.

The Unforgettable Fire is very artsy and has aged well, but there's a few duds on the album or maybe a lack of really good tracks.

HTDAAB, popular to contary belief, does not sound like the 80s U2. The sound is very much more mature and edgy(in terms of guitar sound). I really put it up there with their masterpieces.

I think that's actually the shortest time I've made one of these lists! I'm just sad that looking at the last five, it looks like i don't like them at all haha!

I do enjoy Rattle and Hum and Pop as much as the others, there really isn't a U2 album i don't like (fanboyish as it may sound) but there's definitely something lacking in the last two whereas my Top 6 are top of the heap of my favourite albums since I honestly think they're perfect start to finish! I'm rambling now BYE
