Does no-one remember Edge's various ruling karaokes during the POPMART Tour? That was legendary because he is normally so quiet and lets Bono take the lead. But his karaokes that he performed throughout the UK and Ireland were brilliant: very topical and very appropriate for each show (Eg "We can't go on together with Suspicious Minds" for Belfast; "All Kinds Of Everything" for Dana's election bid in Dublin). Edge has a great sense of showmanship - his is the quiet, intelligent, tongue-in-cheek kind of humour which works really well alongside Bono's open, attention-seeking mad antics and loudness:edge: :bono:

I thought his solo performances of Sunday Bloody Sunday were stunning.

I am floored by his performance of "Bullet the Blue Sky" on Slane. I love how he fiddles with the tremelo, it gives the song such a deep sound. I've always loved live Bullet much more than the album version and it's because of Edge's solos. It may not be forward in the Bono way, but I think it's an amazing performance. :applaud:
