The Fly by Radiohead
Seconds by the Strokes
All Because of You by the White Stripes
Streets by Coldplay

Wake up Dead Man by the Doves, wow, that's really interesting. Would sound great, I bet.

I always wanted to hear Rush cover Gloria, no clue why.

Coldplay covering COBL would be great, too, with Chris on keyboards.

I'd like the Catherine Wheel to re-form and cover Last Night on Earth.

Pearl Jam covering New Year's Day.

I am sure none of mine make sense, but, there you have it anyway.

I'd love to hear Doves do Streets.

Coldplay doing City of Blinding Lights would be pretty interesting too.

I want to hear Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band do Desire. I'd love to hear Pearl Jam do Bullet the Blue Sky. Or Prince perform Lemon.

I wonder what Jeff Buckley or Roy Orbison would have sounded like singing With or Without You? Unfortunately, we will never have the opportunity to find out.

Street Mission by Dream Theater. Lemon by Dire Straits. Bullet The Blue Sky by Crowded House. Oh, and how could I forget, The Fly by the Dalton Brothers!

I've never really thought about this. To be honest I can't think of a single U2 song that I would like to hear a band other than U2 playing. I'm not really a big fan of covers. I think though maybe with or without you by someone with a really strong vocal (Bono struggles a wee bit these days!). So bearing that in mind (I'm sue alot of people won't like this!) I'd like to see Bryan Adams doing it. He is a really good singer. I'm prepared for the uproar.

Lemon - Prince
Desire - Franz Ferdinand
New Year's Day - Coldplay
Do You Feel Loved - David Bowie
Miracle Drug - John Mayer
Tomorrow - Sting
Mofo - Velvet Revolver
One - Automatic Baby:wink:
Out of Control - Green Day
Staring at the Sun - Oasis
I Still Haven't Found... - Da Boss!
Angel of Harlem - Los Lonely Boys
Stories for Boys - The Killers
Party Girl - The Goo Goo Dolls

wow, that hurt my head alot

Wow that would sound....ummmm....varied. Especially without a drummer these days

I've always wanted to hear Split Enz do Discotheque.

Well, you never know, maybe Neil could imitate the sounds of drums! "Doov da-doov ..."

I'd also like to hear an Enz interpretation of Lady With The Spinning Head or Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car.

That's right in both Neil & Tim's drool-worthy vocal range. That would be awesome.

Crowded House - Sweetest Thing, Acousticish (Sister Madlike...with heavy backing vocals etc)

Muse - Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
Oasis - Staring At The Sun
Pearl Jam - Bullet The Blue Sky
Coldplay - Running To Stand Still
The Music - Bad
Ours - Heartland
Keane - If You Wear That Velvet Dress
The Killers - Two Hearts Beat As One
Swithfoot - Gone
Travis - The Sweetest Thing
The Goo Goo Dolls - Stay
Sunny Day Real Estate - Exit
Jet - Desire
Velvet Revolver - Last Night On Earth

etc....

Ryan Adams - Desire
Damien Rice - Wake up dead man
Velvet Revolver - Hawkmoon 269

Yep, I've got their cover of Red Hill Mining Town, and I agree, it's sensational. I also have one version of Bad, possibly two. I have an MP3 of a performance of Bad of an uncertain date, and I recently downloaded a torrent that also includes Bad but I haven't listened yet so I don't know if it is the same performance as my MP3 or not.

I also understand that they created To Live Forever after seeing the Rattle And Hum movie.
