Don't give up (Africa) : official version vs live

Which do you prefer?

The live version has a bit different order in Bono's verses (and a few lines shortened), and of course more raw, with just piano behind the voices.

I pick live - I like the more raw approach over to the studio version, and I think it's more emotional this way.

This is a really beautiful song. Bono and Alicia Keyes voices blend very well too

Is the Peter Gabriel song?

I've never heard Bono with Alicia Keys

I like the live version from Oprah but the song will never be as good as the original. My only problem with the two versions is Ms. Keys. Alicia Keys singing Kate Bush's part is a crime. Out of two so-so versions of a great song, I would have to say the live one.

Kate Bush is so much better than Alicia Keys it's not even funny.

Peter Gabriel's version is far superior. I don't know why Bono and Alicia even bothered.
