Did anyone buy the new Simple Minds covers album?

It has songs by Roxy Music and whatnot. I think the first single is Dancing Barefoot! I will probably buy it though I don't listen to them a lot these days. Anyone buy it, any comments??

Yep its good, electronic with som good guitarsounds. A new album named Cry are coming in April.

I don't think I need the best of double CD, I have the older best of and then I have a lot of their albums.

Dancing Barefoot is indeed by Patty Smith and of course U2 covered it for a B-side--a pretty good one, I think.

scatteroflight...I love the Simple Minds and have everything they've ever released. I noticed that the new album of covers that I saw said that is was a limited release...do you know if that is true?

By the way, when I finish listening to it, I'll give you my take on it.

Ooh, I don't know if it's limited. I should get down to the record store tomorrow and see if I can pick it up.

ROxy music and SUCHH!!! they were just here... well several weeks ago. not that I am likely to buy the album , but I have fond memories of simple minds always remind me of...may u stayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

You know, I bought it and so far I don't like it very much. But then, I haven't given it a big chance yet. I'm going to sit down and give it some proper listens, but I just have to say that my first impressions were not very good.
