I don't think it sounds compressed to death or whatever. Still a lot of dynamic range on my 100 watt RMS system to my dog ears. What's there to complain about?

I agree the album mix is bad. The Edge's guitar is WAY drowned out by the keyboard during the hook. I didn't notice it until I watched the Live From Under The Brooklyn Bridge per4mance.

This song truly came 2 life on the tour....

That would be ok with me . . .

But where would you put Streets? Putting it in a similar spot only invites comparisions. Opening 2nd set? Too close to COBL. Drop it?

It's a conundrum.
 
If you want to hear why some people complain, play a song from the 80s and then put Vertigo on, same volume. It'll blow your eardrum to pieces.
