the CD:UK website is advertising that this Saturday's show consists of Miracle Drug.

so is this going to be a live performance or a video or a studio recording like Veritigo or what?

anyone know what this is about?

It'll be the version recorded back in October when they went into the studio to record Elevation. i.e. it'll be U2 at CD:UK studios with the fans

Yes it does - I guess its all that energy - definitely as good as an opener!

About Miracle Drug being performed on CD:UK. It is not related to single releases- it is being shown to promote the album's release and to get U2 introduced to the younger audience that watch this show. Miracle Drug was probably chosen as it has proven very popular on radio and on forums such as this - a catchy number to get the kids to buy the album!
