I've come across several posts recently where people mention the song Billy Boola, but I've never heard of it. Is it a collaboration, a Bono song, etc? Any info would be great. And is it available for download somewhere? I'm not having any luck with New Media or Kazaa. Thanks!
 
Billy Boola is a song Bono sang for the "In the Name of the Father" soundtrack...I'm looking for my copy of the cd but can't find it. I can't remember if its Bono alone or with Gavin Friday, anyway, hope this helps!

It's the most addicting song ever recorded, I say stay away at all costs. Myself and phuzzie have listened to the song 2 weeks in a row at times, we have serious issues.

It's too bad it is not more prominent in the movie. It is not played for very long and can't be heard that well. (IMHO)

I heard it on Monday for the first time...and yes, it's VERY fun and quite addictive.

The "hang on"s and "moola Boola" voice Bono uses in the chorus crack me up for some reason.

Well the only consolation I get from this thread is to know that I wasn't at all crazy and that the song does indeed contain nicotine. Good luck to you all, I'm gonna work on a Billy Boola patch and get filthy rich.

OK.. wow I never would have realized this if I hadn't obsessively been listening to Gavin lately.

Bono mainly sings the HIGHER notes. I'll Bold the parts where Bono sings -but GAVIN sings at the same time, but his voice is the lower one. There parts like "hang on" bono sings along. THe chorus I cna't tell- i know Gav's the louder one.

He *may* sing some of the chorus but there is so much noise it's hard to tell if he's in there or not.

but gavin sings about nipples in a tshirt
