NEW @U2 BONO'S PLANS WITH PAVAROTTI

Italy's La Stampa newspaper is reporting a few interesting bits of news after an interview with Bono: at tonight's charity concert in Modena, Bono will sing "One", "Miserere", and Schubert's "Ave Maria". The paper reports Bono has changed the lyrics of "Ave Maria" for this performance. ("Miserere", for those who don't know, is a 1992 song by Italian singer Zucchero for which Bono wrote the English translation.) The paper also reports Bono will not be making any statements from the stage.


In the interview, Bono also says U2's new album will be out by Christmas of this year ("full of guitars") and the band will tour in 2004.




Hopefully it's true and let us know if anyone gets MP3's of tonight!
