I was flipping through the channels the other night, and I saw Bono on CMT. He was talking about Elvis and he recited a poem at the end of the show. Does anyone know the poem, or know where I can find it?

It's on their album Passenger. People used it for a Elvis Best Of album and Bono recited it just instead of putting the entire song.

The poem is actually called "American David" and was adapted for the song on Passengers

i think the poem is in this artbook that has a bunch of drawings of elvis or something. my girlfriend picked it up a long time ago cos i think she liked the art, and i was suprised when i saw the bono poem in it.

I've read a different version than the one up there. Starts out with mention of his brother being buried in a shoe box and him being greatest blues singer since King David..hmmm. I'm not sure if I kept a copy on the computer. I have it printed out somewhere.
