you cant blame the violence on the video games, blame it on the parents who let the 8 year old play GTA...there is a ratings system for a reason!

IT'S A VIDEO GAME. Have some of lost sight that video games are just pretend. Just like movies and TV...

Wow, someone clearly didn't read anything.

The studies are not out to "blame" anything on video games. All they prove is that when children are exposed to violent media, they behave more aggressively. Obviously, the exposure can be due to negligent parents. But a lot of parents are negligent in the first place because they refuse to believe that the games WILL affect their children. It's a vicious cycle perpetuated by people's misunderstanding of the facts, as evident by your post.
