the facebook artist page (I think it originates as an iLike profile) for U2 is not fake.

Facebook artists are obviously different than profiles - there are way more hoops to jump through to register or whatever, and it's a publicity tool.

It's actually fairly simple to create the Artist profile, but if you are not that Artist you will get taken down fairly quickly.

My suite-mate from last year made a facebook profile for the Sea Lion that was living in our toilet.... no kidding, search Sea Lion. it hasn't been deleted yet either which is pretty entertaining.




we didn't realllly, have a Sean Lion in our toilet. it just made the noise like one.......

^ Not everyone is such a quick thinker. I think many of us simply trust that people are too good to make up stuff like that.

uh sorry to say but that's just dumb.... if you are SO naive that you think an internet profile site that ANY random can make is really one of a high profiled celebrity guy that would never have the time to have such a profile..... that's just sad...
