Bono to be in Lincoln, Nebraska Dec.1st

The Omaha World Herald has an article in today's paper stating Bono will be in Lincoln Dec.1st for World AIDS Day. Exciting news for me being I live in Omaha.

According to the article Bono won't be speaking until sometime in the evening. I have to work the next day and I've already used up my vacation days for the year, as well as my personal day. I have the worst luck. Oh well...

Everybody put the snow emergency survival kits back in the cupboard! Apparently, the folks in Lincoln are merely hoping to get Bono to come. Nothing is confirmed, and you know how those things go.

That's a Sunday that this is all supposed to happen, it's not uncommon for them to tape the weekend shows of Larry King 'Live'. And if that's the case, there is probably not a chance of them doing call-in questions

Haha, and here I was yesterday trying to convince my parents to take a five-hour trip there...

Hopefully it will definitely wind up happening-that'd be so cool to know he's not too far from where I live. And if by some miracle I was able to head down there, that'd be even cooler.
