Okay, so I was thinking about SBS this afternoon and remembered the little quip Bono says on the UABRS version -
"There's been a lot of talk about this next song, maybe, maybe too much talk...this song is not a rebel song...this song is Sunday Bloody Sunday!"
- and it got me thinking that that quote kind of "defined" the WAR era for U2, as far as Bono quotes go.
Here are a few others - let's hear yours...
Boy - ???
October - ???
War - (see above)
UF - ???
Joshua Tree - ???
Rattle and Hum - "Am I buggin' you? Don't mean to bug ya...okay Edge, play the blues!"
Achtung Baby - "...go away and dream it all up again" and "Everything You Know is Wrong" (not a spoken Bono-ism, but he probably came up with it)
Zooropa - ???
POP - ???
ATYCLB - "...re-applying for the job"
