no worries! and i'd say that bono came on the phone about 3-4 minutes before that, so set your vcr a little earlier.k

I'm not so sure how I like the interpretation of the video as "a robot girl who wants to be human." :eyebrow: I like my interpretation better!

yeah, me too :)

but then I hated "AI" :reject:

I like what he said the song's about though :)

i love how much bono talks and the way he seemingly rambles but always somehow segues into his point

Definitely! And I've noticed he's developed quite the politician's speaking style-----he always mentions his audience: "One of the reasons I watch MTV;" "I'm sure her audience is in there with you;" "tell the audience that..." He did the same thing in the Rolling Stone article, saying something like "...magazines like Rolling Stone..." Kinda funny.

I'll take your word for it!

I'm going to take the liberty of telling you anyway...it's the Black Eyed Peas' new song and it's all about some girl's "lumps" and "humps". Basically Fergie dances around all :yuck: for the entire video.

Now back to wishing you were still ignorant about "My Lumps"......

It was our pleasure to spare you Diddy pimping his clothing line

For all the marketing of ONE, Africa, DATA, etc. that Bono does, he's nowhere near as bad as Diddy. I honestly think that guy is only into music for the commercialism.

so we just got digital cable...and i figured my mom wasn't home yet i'd record it to the DVR...turns out i hit the record to VCR instead...SO I MISSED IT!

Bono, always the diplomat! Such a charmer..

I didn't take off work early for this show since I've seen trl one time before.
Thanks Utoo!!

Excellent recap of what Bono said and I can imagin the rest.

^ Agree ... the Original Of The Species video was pretty cool !!

Although, Bono's interview being done over the phone was a bit disappointing.
I wish they would have done a satellite feed instead, so we could have at least seen him live than looking at a Bono picture while he talked. :tsk:

Best part of the show? The way Bono talked too long and then they had to rush the end of the program. Bless his heart.

anyone tape this or know if TRL is ever rerun on MTV?

Thanks!
