Bono, on Billy Graham-
"At a time when religion seems so often to get in the way of God's work, with its shopping mall sales pitch and its bumper sticker reductionism, I give thanks just for the sanity of Billy Graham. For that clear, emphatic voice of his, in that Southern accent. Part poet, part preacher. A singer of the human spirit. I'd say, yeah, I give thanks for Billy Graham. Thank you Billy Graham."

nope, but I know he was one of the presidents of the college I attended.

I was helping to usher at a Billy Graham Crusade and we had just gathered to pray before we started training when the band warming up on the field started playing "40." I was smiling too much after that to finish the prayer...

Neat to see Bono talking about Billy Graham, he's been so vital to evangelical Christianity for so long.
