U2 were supposed to do the theme for Casino Royale (the new Bond movie), and many counted on it actually happening, saying that U2 weren't recording anything new because they needed to work on the theme.

Then the announcement came that Chris Cornell was chosen. Lots of people blushed and swept it under the rug.

But I downloaded this new U2 song for the movie! It's fantastic - makes WITS look bad. Oh wait.
