Bono Gets Pissed...In Mexico City

This is so blatanly obvios in the video. At the end of UTEOTW bono swings at a fan with his guitar and yells "asshole." (if you watch his lips)

What was that give me a cigarette (2 fingers to the mouth) gesture all about? Did Bono get pissed just because someone refused to spare a butt?

Was anyone down there in person?

I watched the Mexico pay per view live and thought (at the end of UTEOTW) that Bono looked really pissed at someone.

Then I saw them a week later in Vancouver and then Seattle and he did the exact same thing...

That was the infamous laser pointer episode. Laser pointers can ruin your retinas, and Bono was upset the asshole wouldn't quit aiming it into his eyes.

He should've said, but Bono, if I do this you won't have to bother staring at the sun

Oh yeah, you're right. I saw Bono use the same sign in boston when someone threw something at him.
