Bono almost slipped bigtime introducing...

One thing I've come to realize is that different people hear different things.

There is a person on another board who is convinced that what Larry said was that they didn't think they would end up touring because of what happened with the tickets.

I can only assume that even though this person is from England maybe English is not their first language, at least that's what I'm hoping.

That's an interesting theory to pursue. I will study that and take it up in a future post. After all, it was Bono who declared back in 1993 "to Michael Jackson, I don't believe you're bad." I'll get back to this topic in a new thread. Keep an eye for it...

Cheers,

Former frontman of INXS. Committed suicide in 1998(or was it 1997?)

Oops, someone beat me to it.

Some say suicide, some say accidental death during an auto-erotic asphyxiation incident.

thanks, to both of you

and to make further mark, why would bono mention him during, of all, the song about his father, dad, ol man, padre, papa, jefe, well you get the point

I miss Jick :|

Bono was nervous and messed up on the intro to his father Bob who sang opera.
But man, did he pull right out of that with the very first note!
I think it might be the best performance of that song...at least on TV.

I think it was the best performance of that song!

THat I have seen anyway...

And I still say that he almost did say for Michael Hutchence!

Maybe we should hold a benefit concert :hmm:

I wonder if U2 would perform? Well maybe not Adam, Jick wasn't always so nice to him

Jick is not coming back so I would really suggest dropping it, now.

I am closing this thread since it's 9 months old and has now gone way off-topic.
