One thing I've come to realize is that different people hear different things.

There is a person on another board who is convinced that what Larry said was that they didn't think they would end up touring because of what happened with the tickets.

I can only assume that even though this person is from England maybe English is not their first language, at least that's what I'm hoping.

I TIVO'd the Grammys and rewatched this part last night, he sounds like he was about to say my ol' man and stopped at the o' and changed to father.

That's an interesting theory to pursue. I will study that and take it up in a future post. After all, it was Bono who declared back in 1993 "to Michael Jackson, I don't believe you're bad." I'll get back to this topic in a new thread. Keep an eye for it...

But man, did he pull right out of that with the very first note!
I think it might be the best performance of that song...at least on TV.
