Please vote for your FAVOURITE song(s).
The top NINE songs from this era proceed to the 1980s Semi Final.

Welcome to the Early 1980s quarter final in Best Song Survivor v2! The object of this game is to find Interference's favourite U2 songs. Each album will be featured in a single round with the non-album tracks from its era. The amount of finalists from each era is based on seeding from the latest U2 Album Survivor. These rounds will last 24 hours and will be multiple choice polls where you vote for your favourite tracks (within reason). A suggestion is to vote for the amount of tracks that will proceed to the next round, although this is not a hard and fast rule.

Only original U2 songs with official studio releases will compete. Please vote solely on the basis of studio tracks. Songs with multiple versions will be listed separately; remixes will not, so if you favour a remix over the original song, vote on the basis of your favourite.

The Joshua Tree era produced one of the most hotly fought rounds Survivor has seen, with numerous non-album tracks polling well and most of the album in hot contention for entry to the finals. Streets and With Or Without You naturally polled well, as did fan favourites Running To Stand Still and One Tree Hill. Exit achieved a greater measure of popularity than it has in the past on Interference and snagged a finals position, and in an upset, Spanish Eyes snuck through ahead of ISHFWILF.

Please find RAH's ranking in the Late 1980s Quarter Final.

I basically stuck with my votes from the album era rounds, and that nicely worked out to the amount of songs that are going to proceed.

Thrilled about Exit and Spanish Eyes polling so well in JT.

You should've left off October and 40.

As long as Gloria, An Cat Dubh, NYD and Celebration get through, I'm happy.....doesn't look like Celebration will qualify though....
