Please vote for your LEAST FAVOURITE song.

Welcome to the fourth round for Pop in Best Song Survivor! The object of this game is to find Interference's favourite U2 song. To do so, songs will be eliminated album-by-album in 24 hour long rounds to leave the favourites to contest a final that will determine the very favourite. The top four songs from Pop will proceed to the semi-finals. Only original U2 songs with official studio releases will compete. Due to dominating past tournaments and the inevitable likelihood that they will do the same this time, Where The Streets Have No Name and One are not in the tournament and can be assumed default equal #1 over and above the ultimate winner.

In the third round, If God Will Send His Angels was narrowly eliminated.

Discotheque. It ruled live on Popmart and Vertigo, but the studio version leaves me underwhelmed.

I hope Velvet Dress and WUDM aren't eliminated this early. Both slay Discotheque and SATS.

Wake Up Dead Man. The song is alright- the acoustic Elevation version was great- but it's just the weakest studio track here.

Discotheque for me too. It might get tricky after that goes...

WUDM is brilliant. Somehow it's still bleeding and raw even with the five billion overdubs or backing tracks or whatever else they've mashed together. It's bottomless.

Discotheque's studio version isn't so great so I'm voting for it.

Voted VD, only to hasten the inevitable mercy killing.

Great job forcing a completely unnecessary round, guys.

Went with Discotheque here. The live versions are infinitely superior.

Actually, I always thought that the Hexadecimal Mix (the complete version, not the edit on Best Of) should be the version on the album.

Ever heard this mix before?

It shaves about 6 minutes off, but you get the idea. It's my favorite mix of the song.

Good stuff.. I have the DM Deep Club Mix (7 min) and the DM Deep Extended Club Mix (10 min) and always disliked them for being too long. This is solves the problem. Really different from the original too.
Not better than the Hexadecimal (which I believe is what Disco was supposed to sound like) imo, but really good.:up:

LNOE, could be SATS as well.

I hope Velvet Dress will stay a bit longer.
