Best Song Survivor: Atomic Bomb, Round Seven

Crumbs from Your Table finally crumbled in the last round, leaving five songs from How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb competing for two slots in the 2000s quarterfinal round. You have twenty-four hours to vote against your least favorite song. For anyone just joining us, rules may be found here.

Disappointed Crumbs finally perished, and that it went before the snoozefest that is SYCMIOYO.

Would love AMAAW to stick around to be a finalist, but that's obviously highly unlikely. Will be a bit boring if the two finalists are COBL and Vertigo. COBL deserves it, but Vertigo's not even a top five song on this album.

The line: "I've had enough of romantic love...I'd give it up...for a miracle drug..." just bothers me. So that's my vote.

A Man and A Woman and Vertigo are the best songs on the album. SYCMIOYO is the weakest song left.

I like COBL, but it's over rated here. The second half of Miracle Drug, beginning with Edge's solo is outstanding. The best live version of this was that promo appearance on some European TV show, CD:UK?

Yeah, it's a shame the first half of Miracle Drug is pretty unremarkable, because that second half is one of the better passages of music on HTDAAB for sure.

You're a moron if you give HTDAAB any less than 9/10.

(No kidding. Nothing here I'd even consider permitting near my top 30 U2 songs.)

AMAAW. Easily the worst song on the album.

Well the final three will clearly be Vertigo, COBL & Miracle Drug.

Time to make a double elimination for the other two!
