Please vote for your LEAST FAVOURITE song.

Welcome to the third round for Achtung Baby in Best Song Survivor! The object of this game is to find Interference's favourite U2 song. To do so, songs will be eliminated album-by-album in 24 hour long rounds to leave the favourites to contest a final that will determine the very favourite. The top four songs from this album will proceed to the 1990s semi-finals. Only original U2 songs with official studio releases will compete. Due to dominating past tournaments and the inevitable likelihood that they will do the same this time, Where The Streets Have No Name and One are not in the tournament and can be assumed default equal #1 over and above the ultimate winner.

In the second round, So Cruel was eliminated.

So Cruel is one of the best songs on the album, but it is an album full of amazing songs so what are ya gonna do. :(

U2 can't keep their own track titles straight, it seems. I usually see it listed as one word, which includes the Wikipedia entry and U2.com.

Remember, U2.com is the website that doesn't know the state of most American cities and thinks there is somewhere called Oaklans.

And need I bring up "Running To Standstill"?

Regardless of whether or not U2 has their shit together, it's still a fucking great track. To me, "baby" is as much of a lyric as Bono shouting, "oh oh oh oh" in every other song. It's not meant to be poetic, so I don't regard it as such. I have never had any problem with that chorus, and it's a relatively small portion of the song. Edge's vocals are fantastic, too.

Relatively small portion? It's repeated ad nauseum. The song goes on for about two minutes more than it rightfully should.

Ultraviolet is an overlooked epic, in my opinion. sure the lyrics seem a bit cheesy (boy-bandish according to one post) but the way they are sung is far from cheesy or boy-bandish. Very emotional and passionate singing from Bono. Edge with great backing and the expansive final chorus is just brilliant. Excellent guitar work, especially when the song first breaks out.
