I think So Cruel is pretty good, it didn't need to be over 5 minutes long though.

Neither do I and yes Bono could have put something else in the chorus but I think it just ties the song together IMO

I quite frankly think Ultra Violet is one of U2's ten worst songs.

Funnily enough, this album produces three of them, the other two being One and TTTYAATW. So Cruel's probably not far outside my ten worst U2 songs either.

Ultraviolet live is droolworthy. Ultraviolet studio is kind of okayish. Still one of my favourite songs on the album, though.

Those wild horses can gallop away as far as I'm concerned.

I absolutely love So Cruel.

So Cruel might be understated, but is a key contributor to the phenomenal flow of the album, think it deserves another round or two. A key track that is so terrifically representative of what Achtung Baby was all about thematically. I voted for Wild Horses, as a song on it's own, it's quite average. I actually prefer the single version, though the album version is still a pleasant tune.

Would be stoked if Zoo Station progressed. Amazing tune.

Man it feels awkward being the only End of the World hater on this thread.

I feel sad for So Cruel. I used to skip it all the time, before I realized its awesomeness. The lyrics are lovely.
