Stateless

I was a WTTW voter last round and could have gone several ways. I would hate to see Luminous Times go this round.

Almost went Silver and Gold, but the live version kicks ass.

Stateless is a solid experimental track, but loses points in my mind for being a slow starter. I used to skip it a lot on my mp3 list because of the funky intro. Nice moody feel, but not as memorable as the rest of the board.

Spanish eyes should be long time gone.... . ..

Crysal Ballroom for sure (and namk I'm still 2 days away from having a laptop. If you could phone-in for me...)

I'd prefer to oust Crystal Ballroom to protect Luminous Times. But I'm prepared to cross over to Stateless. It's good, but if Crystal Ballroom were ousted it would be my lowest ranked song here.

It's amazing how much worse the three songs that are at the bottom of the voting sheet are than anything above them. And they're getting pretty much no votes because we are clamoring to remove U2's best b-sides era. Baffling.

I'd agree, but I see Silver and Gold as one of the weakest left...also with no votes.

I think it might be a little early for Stateless to depart, but I'm not passionate about it to the extent that I'll vote to save it.

Silver & Gold is easily my least favourite here. I'll throw a vote at it and hope that others might like to join a movement (if it's one you can believe in) to oust it.

I voted for S&G, because it's actually my least-favorite song here (though Crystal Ballroom is really close).

But that's not to say that either is a terrible song. This is an excellent batch of songs.

I'm just excited to finally vote for something besides WTTW. Happy to vote Silver & Gold to save Stateless, which is in my top 20 U2 songs. Could have piled on Mercy or Spanish Eyes too, but S&G it is.

Looks like the pile-in is for Silver and Gold. Sure. That's in my bottom three of what's left with The Crystal Ballroom and Stateless. If those three go, we'd be left with a top ten that almost aligns perfectly with my personal b-sides top ten. Just switch out Mercy for Wild Irish Rose. I'd have to bump something else for Treasure, and maybe another for Bass Trap, but those are choices I would not want to have to make.

I'll take Mercy over everything on this list

And over at least more than half of anything on the actual albums.

And I'd probably say the same about Stateless and TGBHF.

How the hell did North and South of the River get eliminated already?

I'm voting Silver & Gold, not just to save Stateless, but because the studio version really pales in comparison to the live one on R&H.
