So, nielsgov put Sweetest Thing over the top at pretty much literally the last minute. A buzzer beater.

Probably the first elimination I'm genuinely upset over. Sweetest Thing is the perfect pop song and should've stayed on the board at least a little longer. Certainly Electrical Storm at the very least should've gone before it.

Walk, walk, walk out of the competition.

The 98' version of Sweetest Thing is in my top 25 U2 songs. U2 had an album called Pop and tried to write Beatlesesque tunes like Wild Honey and Original of the Species. Yet, a simple apology song to Bono's wife is the greatest U2 pop song in their catalogue.

I can't believe Sweetest Thing is gone and Walk To The Water looks like it's about to be gone and yet Electrical Storm has hardly received a vote yet. I think it's pretty clearly one of the weakest tracks left.

Delighted that Sweetest Thing perished - especially since somehow, in the JT 30th Tour madness yesterday, I never came back to cast a vote for it or Walk to the Water.

Anyway, now it's a bit of a muddle for me. Walk to the Water, Holy Joe, or The Crystal Ballroom. Guess Walk to the Water it is, in part to protect A Celebration. But I have no strong dislike of anything that's left.

I think it's a given they're all going to hurt from now on. Sweetest Thing is easily good enough to be an album track.
