Battle on The Sunset Strip Sunday!

EXIT has reached the finals in a Battle of the Bands contest that will culminate in a fierce competition at L.A.'s legendary Whisky A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip--home of Jim Morrison and The Doors in the 60's. 6 of L.A.'s top bands will compete against EXIT, with the winner being chosen by crowd reaction at the end of the event. EXIT has made it to the finals with a unique blend of U2 covers and original songs performed with a punk energy we haven't seen since the early 80's. EXIT is proud to be bringing U2's style of music and performance to the contemporary L.A. music scene, and they will do their best to kick some jaded L.A. arse for U2 fans worldwide!

If you happen to be in Los Angeles, please attended and represent!

Cover bands? Is this a battle to see who plays someone elses music best?

Ehm... why would it matter? They play U2 songs but also have their own originals. They're going up against other L.A.-based bands. Personally, I'd rather hear U2 covers than some of the crap that some bands out there play.
