Some great suggestions here by you guys, keep em' coming. I definitely agree with the Radiohead and Depeche Mode albums that were brought up, as well as some others.
Sorry though, I don't believe Rattle and Hum counts. It WAS the soundtrack to the film; there's maybe two songs on there that don't appear in the film (if I recollect correctly). This isn't meant to be an indictment on the quality of the collection, I like it myself. But to me it doesn't count.
