So Folks FINALLY , J_NP had the chance of putting hands today in the ZOO DVD and finally watch it , Enjoyed it obviously quite a lot , but found strange sometimes the audio wasn't very good , particularly on Edge's side , I went for checking and there was a cable not properly put , still ...... Something made me curious

What's your favorite audio choice ? I'm a bit more interested now in the the 2 first , so the ones who say It's the DTS , I would appreciate if still u said what was ur favorite between PCM and DD .....

And of course specially saying me where Edge's guitars are louder

I dislike that with Dolby the volume changes on the instruments when Bono is singing.

I'd rank it like this:

1. DTS
2. Dolby
3. PCM

DTS is the best sound out at the moment, the bass on DTS is absolutely brilliant.

Dolby Digital runs at about a third of the bitrate and you can tell

it's like lsitening to a 128 MP3 as opposed to a 320kbit MP3

Not exactly. DD and DTS have different encoding algorithms, so that's like comparing apples and oranges. It also depends on how much each soundtrack is compressed relative to the maximum bitrate for its codec. The ZooTV DTS and DD soundtracks were encoded at reduced bitrates -i.e. less than transparent audio.
