I browsed through the site of "Der Musikmarkt" (Germany's Billboard) and found some data for ATYCLB, The Best Of, Pop and some singles. The chart performance for ATYCLB is complete, but The Best Of's and especially Pop's isn't because there are a lot of wrong links on the website and charts from 1996 to mid-1997 only list the top 20 positions.

---------------------------------------------
ATYCLB has spent 40 weeks on the German Top 100 so far and is certified as Platinum (300.000 copies) and Gold (150.000 copies). It's out of the charts right now but might re-enter once Walk On is released.
ATYCLB's run on Germany's album chart (x = out of Top 100):
1-1-3-4-11-17-21-20-21-22-
24-29-29-30-33-22-20-29-33-32-
42-58-68-61-66-68-86-89-100-x-
x-x-x-47-34-31-39-46-44-49-
71-76-82-97-x-x

Beautiful Day entered the charts at #7 but went down quickly, which was a bit surprising, since the song was used by German TV station ZDF as their theme song during the Olympic Games in Sydney. (ZDF did the same thing with Bon Jovi's "It's My Life" during the European soccer finals in the Netherlands and Belgium - "It's My Life" became Bon Jovi's most successful single in Germany!)
Beautiful Day's run on Germany's singles chart: 7-32-33-52-63-74-75-72-85.

Stuck was definetely not U2's biggest hit - at least not in Germany, although it hit the Top 40:
Stuck's run on Germany's singles chart: 40-73-73-87-88-99

Elevation did better than Stuck, probably due to the success of Tomb Raider.
Elevation's run on Germany's singles chart: 31-47-43-39-52-60-69-86-82.

---------------------------------------------

The Best Of 1980-1990 entered the charts at #2 (Alanis Morissette's Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie hit the top spot) but went to #1 the next week.

The first 29 weeks:
2-1-1-2-1-2-2-4-5-5-
8-13-16-19-20-27-34-41-45-65-
58-59-63-77-74-72-75-86-96 out of charts.

The Best Of re-entered the charts a few times after it first dropped out of the Top 100 (e.g. during Elevation 2001) and has spent 42 weeks on the charts until now.

Sweetest Thing hit #21 in November '98 and proved to be quite successful. The single spent at least 9 weeks (21-44-45-58-60-62-68-71-70-?) in the Top 100.

---------------------------------------------

Pop went to #1 in March 1997 but dropped out of the Top 20 after its 9th week on the charts. (1-4-4-10-10-14-16-19-20). I don't have data for the following weeks but during the German dates of Popmart, Pop rose again to #27 (both The Joshua Tree and Rattle And Hum re-entered the charts as well in August '97) and dropped out of the charts in October '97, so I assume it spent 28 weeks on the charts.

Please hit #26 (probably due to the Popheart EP) and spent 5 weeks (26-56-55-70-92) on the charts, while Last Night On Earth hit #60 and spent 3-5 weeks (82-60-68-?) on the Hot 100. I don't have data for both Discoth?que (hit #9 if I remember correctly) and Staring At The Sun.
