Hey guys so I see Hard Rock is the place to be.

Well before I start checking out reservations I was wondering if anyone had some extra room for 2 that are willing to split bills. Or anyone that has not reserved a room yet and would like to join us. If so let me know.

Besides that I don't have a cell phone. But I'll be in touch. And I'll definately bring some confetti, the tags would be great, and what about a huge inflatable lemon for a beach ball purposes when the concert starts?

Anyone ever hear of the Westward Hotel & Casino? My friend's been checking out prices and we can get a great deal there- just wanted to see if it's an ok place or not! thx!

generally, when it comes to casinos/hotels in vegas you get what you pay for... i strongly suggest that you read some of the online hotel reviews... nothing is worse than being in vegas and wanting to enjoy yourself but being limited from doing so because of your dismal (and some of the big hotels are shitholes) surroundings...

And murlio, sorry about that, sometimes I focus in on one post and forget to read the others....I just saw your $65 and I thought !!!!!

Don't get your hopes up out there but my husband is being real wishy washy about Vegas (he doesn't want to spend so much $$$), so I may have an extra room at the Hard Rock available (I booked two). Hopefully in a few weeks I will know for sure, in which case, if he doesn't want to go, I will offer the room to you all first before I cancel it. This could also mean that I could have two extra GC tix. Hey, I could go into business like ETS. Only call me jTS

the HR hotel is not a HR Cafe per say... they do have a live venue, the joint, but major acts play there... the hr hotel is something to see... by the way, i dunno if the pool is open in november, but if it is it's outstanding....

I'm thikning of staying in Vegas a day longer than the Monday after the show just to play around for awhile...is anyone else planning to stay through until Tuesday or Weds., and wants to play in Sin City???

Hey, this thread is slipping...

Vegas, woohoo

As an aside, last time i was in Baby's (hidden, pretty people dance club in HR basement) my associates and i dropped 300$ to get a "VIP" booth above the dance floor for 5 hours... it was quite cool we had our own waitress and bouncer... people thought we were famous but sadly we were not we just knew who to pay...

My celeb sightings at HR include: various playmates (some BS bikini photo shoot in the pool 5/01), Rodman and a large entourage of whores (just cruisin through the casino floor 3/00), Ben Affleck and Jon Favreau (both, gambling and drunk as shit 8/00), Drew Carey (playing blackjack, totally blended in very cool 3/00)...

The point is keep your eyes peeled for famous faces. A dealer told me that U2 has stayed there and that she dealt to Adam Clayton but it could have been bullshit. I prefer to believe that it was true.
