happy birthday ACHTUNG BABY i salute you...this album means so much, its timeless beauty is set in stone and as some of the others here i also believe that ACROBAT is one of their finest songs. its like it was yesterday...the clouds hung deep over Auckland (the city with the One Tree Hill) when the deep dark intro of ACROBAT came over the speaker. one of these unforgettable moments. ACHTUNG BABY forever.

Happy Birthday Achtung Baby! My favorite album of all time! I was listening to it in the car in the last saturday and my girlfriend just said this thing to me: "Are you sure this stuff was made in 91?!"

So old but still fresh
Acrobat IMO the best. Although my girlfriend loves "One"... and I said, shut up and listen to "Until the End of the World" and Acrobat.
Well, she now wants me to make a copy of it for her. God, I addicted everyone to U2 because of this album!
"Listen to this album", "If you listen to this you'll understand why I love U2", etc, etc. Now every friend of mine likes U2. Their not their favourite band but they know how good they are (as musicians and a band) and trully respect them.

Acthung Baby will be forever in my heart even more than my girlfriend j/k

It's funny...me and a friend flew to Providence, RI yesterday afternoon and had to rent a car to drive to nearby FoxWoods casino to help aid our poker addiction. I didnt take a bag with me and could only take one CD out of my whole (huge) collection to put in my jacket pocket and play in the car because radio sucks, and guess which one I picked?

I heard the whole thing straight, its such brilliance. Best album ever.

i was thinking.....there are not a lot of perfect CDs, I mean really without a weak song on it, but for me Achtung baby is that! Definitely! what do u think? how about other artists - is there any cd like that from other artists (well of course not as perfect as Achtung baby but close)?

Ahhh.... Achtung Baby. The first CD I ever bought (I was 10), followed the next day (after listening to Achtung about 10 times) with JT. To this day I still can't decide on which album is better....I have Achtung Baby days, and I have JT days. Either way, they are (IMO) the undisputable #1 & #2 albums of all time.
