lyrics:

Baby slow down
The end is not as far as the start
please stay a child
somewhere in your heart

I'd give you everything you want
Except the thing that you want
you are the first one of your kind

And you feel like no one before
you steel, right under my door.

Lyrics :
Baby slow down
The end is not as fun as the start
Please stay a child somewhere in your heart

Give you everything you want
Except the thing that you want
You are the first one of your kind

And you feel like no one before
You steal right under my door...
(fade out)

HEY,
Does anybody know how to connect MP3 clips?

This OTTS clip might sound better if we could clip the chorus on the end.

Oh my goodness me, these guys know how to write songs huh?!
Thanks heaps for this one Max, this really is an exciting revelation!

i'm really not sure now if that "everywhere you go" clip would really fit in with the clip of "oots" we now have.

Isn't OOTS the song that made Edge weep like a little school-girl?? I can see that...

In the Blender article The Edge says "I had to rewrite the chords for the verse and it was like killing your children because i loved those cords"

it may not be the same tempo. But it is in the same key. I'd be curious to hear it.

Found it:

Q
A strident torch song. Contains the lines, "Some things you
shouldn't get too good at/Like smiling, crying and celebrity."
The Edge: "The last time I cried was listening to that song.
It was a song Bono started on the last record about my
daughter Holly. He's her godfather. The lyric became more
universal. About being young and full of doubt about yourself.
He probably won't agree, but I think it has connotations for
Bono, looking back to when he was 20."

thank you! it definitely sounds like it could be the same song...

oh, for sure it is! I know this because one of the magazine reviews for HTDAAB quoted a lyric from OOTS, "everywhere you go, you shout it. You don't have to be shy about it." Is it just a coincidence that those lyrics match up with this clip, I think not.

Reminds me of The Hands That Built America a bit......

Hope the album version's better :eyebrow:

 I can see this after listening to that itty-bit....I really needed to hear this clip today, it really spoke to me where I am at with myself right now-if that makes anysense....

i must say, i like this album more than ATYCLB already, and i've only heard 3 full songs and clip of 2 others, lol.:|
