the sound actually has a pretty low quality. But American Prayer does sound a whole hell of a lot better now than it did before.

I think the other version is much better tha this one. They really are very different (tempo, melody). I do, however, like the potential of Beyonce--she does have a great voice.

I agree. The "old" version is better (possibly for nostalgic reasons). The new one doesn't even have Africans singing in it, so it kinda defeats the original purpose of the song. I wish they'd release the version recorded in NYC right after their tour last winter.

But I still like the new version as well and yes, as much as I am NOT a fan, Beyonce has a beautiful voice.
