It was my first U2 show, so I'll always remember it.

My memories: Eatting pizza at an Italian resturant near the Compaq Center.
Sitting behind the stage and seeing U2 walk around backstage before anyone else. I started screaming and jumping up and down and then everyone caught on and saw them too.
U2 played Ground Beneath Her Feet and I thought it was the best song of the night.

Great show.

I recognize the hedges in those pics..my grandma lives right across from the Compaq Center, in the Greenway Plaza condos..shame they're selling the Compaq Center to the Lakewood Church

Houston was my first Elevation show.

My friend and I just missed Bono and Edge on the grass that day by about 10 minutes

thus keeping with our tradition of not meeting the band after 12 years of going to U2 concerts.
... We made up for it the next day in Dallas tho.
