Rudie Can't Fail sounds like fucking ska. I can dig it.

Was not expecting that from a punk rock band.

Then plan to be pleasantly surprised by the rest of the album. There's not much snarling punk on LC.

Small audible on 2 and 3 there give you this:

2. Spanish Bombs
3. Rudie Can't Fail
4. Brand New Cadillac
5. Hateful
6. Jimmy Jazz

The two songs that really hooked me onto the Clash were Lost in the Supermarket and Death or Glory.

There were some others too, but I remember those were the big ones for me.

Are The Clash one of those bands with one real good album or is the rest of their discography worth checking out?

Combat Rock has a song called Know Your Rights which Pearl Jam used to cover all the time. Kickass song.

And my favorite Clash song ever is a song called Stay Free which is not on London Calling.

In almost exact contrast to the rest of you guys, I'm putting on some dance music. I hear Daft Punk's Discovery album is really awesome. I'll go with that.

Funnily enough, I'm actually cleaning off my scratched up copy of London Calling and I'm about to listen to it for the first time in probably a year and a half.
