what does deathbear mean by that? :|

refering to the airport at Nice in France I guess. Although I've been to Nice breifly myself, a very long time ago, I've never been to the airport there so maybe there's something intriguing about it. hmmmm, dunno.

One of the places that consumes most of my time:

inset_airport.jpg

It was opened this summer.

The other airport that consumes my time does not have a good picture on their website...and is no where as nice as the one in the photos.

which one is that?

and you haven't answered my question. how can i work for your company that allows me to travel lots.

we don't even have an advertising department. Crap...I would be there if we did (or, so I would try).

I am living here in (insert Billy Joel song lyrics).

Actually...two locations in that state.

yup.

you hopeless little ham-ass.

Pull yourselfs up by the shoestrings and get your own damn job.

I climbed hills in too feats of snow (both ways) in order to be where I am now. (in other words...I sold out!)

i have my own job.

it's just that i want yours.

not so much that i can have it. rather...so that you CAN'T.

:sexywink:

Providence
Buffalo
Cincinnatti
San Diego
Pittsburgh
Cleveland
Philadelphia
Boston
Dublin
Shannon
Atlanta
Pensacola
Newark
Chicago
Memphis
Columbus
Minneapolis-St. Paul
LAX

 I think that's it.

I  my little TF Green in Providence, who's slogan was for a while, "No matter what you're flight attendant just told you, you've landed in Warwick." Little Rhode Island inside joke.

And Chicago is a fabulous airport to wait in, if you like waiting. EVERY flight I've had through Chicago has been delayd at least an hour.

This is a great thread!
I haven't flown anywhere in 10 years! :reject: My list is:

NY-La Guardia
NY-Kennedy
San Diego
Los Angeles
The old Denver airport
Chicago-O'Hare
Dallas-Ft. Worth
Orlando
Kansas City
Syracuse
Albany
Boston-Logan
Minneapolis-St. Paul
London-Heathrow
Washington, DC-Dulles
Providence
Long Island-MacArthur

My list:

Helsinki (Finland)
Savonlinna (Finland)
Tampere (Finland)
Stockholm (Sweden)
Athens (Greece)
Heathrow (London)
Gatwick (London)
Stansted (London)
Dublin (Ireland)
Charles de Gaulle (Paris)
Lisbon (Portugal)
Copenhagen (Denmark)
and some city in Morocco...Casablanca, maybe? I was only 4 when we were there so I can't remember...:hmm:

And my favourite would be Helsinki. Why? As much as I love to travel, the (nearly) best part of it is coming home and it's usually Helsinki where I return. (a sentimental old fool I am)

my short list:

Ontario (CA)
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Arcata (tiny airport in the redwoods of far northern california)

This was all on one trip too.

What are some of your candidates for the following?

1) Most Sadistic Airport Design (I nominate Athens)
2) Worst Interterminal Transport System
3) Worst Customs Ordeal
4) Most Obnoxiously Cheerful Decor (Vero Beach, FL)
5) Best Food Selection (Heathrow)
6) Most Disconcerting Security Situation
7) Most Overrun With Bumbling Tour Groups
8) Most Unnerving Public Space (The creepy sound'n'light show in the interterminal walkways at Detroit--don't bring your autistic nephew here. Or your claustrophobic aunt)
9) Worst National Disgrace of an Airport (Tokyo Narita, unless they've extensively remodeled recently)
10) Least Like What You Expected
