this movie = :heart:

Derek Zoolander: What is this? A center for ants? How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to read... if they can't even fit inside the building?
Mugatu: Derek, this is just a small...
Derek Zoolander: I don't wanna hear your excuses! The building has to be at least... three times bigger than this!

Derek: What? Are you here to tell me what a bad eugoogoolizer I am?

Matilda: A what?

Derek: A eugoogoolizer... you know one who speaks at funerals.
[Matilda looks at Derek confused]

Derek: Or did you think I was too stupid to know what a eugoogooly was?

:drool: :drool:

Crazy movie...my kids would love it, I just took them to see Night at the Museum. I actually loved it too. My kids came home and were looking up stuff on the web that they saw in the movie!!!

"Earth to Matilda, I was at a day spa, d-a-i-y-e."

"What is this?!?! A school for ANTS?!?!? It will need to be....at least three times bigger."

I love the David Bowie and Billy Zane cameos! :lol:

My other favorite bit is:

*cough* *cough* "I think I've got the black lung, pop!"

My favorite scene is at the beginning at the gas station...:lmao:
I can't listen to Wake Me Up Before You Go Go without picturing that scene.

Gasoline fight! :happy:

And a David Duchovny cameo... That was unexpected.

"Damn it Todd, don't you know I get farty and bloated with a creamy latte?!"

"My mistake Jacobim."

"Your mistake indeed!"

*awkward sexual glances*

that movie is a tour-de-force, I love it so much.

Ben Stiller's best role is in Heavyweights. He absolutely kills me in that movie.

Derek Zoolander: Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Billy Zane: It's a walk-off!
one of my favorites:
Hi Derek! My name's Little Cletus and I'm here to tell you a few things about child labor laws, ok? They're silly and outdated. Why back in the 30s, children as young as five could work as they pleased; from textile factories to iron smelts. Yippee! Hurray!
"from the Phillipines, to Bangladesh, to China, and to South America too, boo hoo!"
:lmao:
the outtakes on the DVD of Mugatu as Lil Cletus are classic.
"I was a clown for Halloween, what were you?! Little kid things!"
Ah, good call. :wink:
I had mixed feelings when he brought back basically the same role for Dodgeball. I love the character, but I thought it was done better the first time when it comes down to it.
Ben Stiller has 3 parts:
1. The neurotic Jew with a relationship problem
2. The dumb, insane jock
3. The retarded prettyboy.
Count up his movies, I think one of those 3 can explain his character.
It's like Tom Cruise playing "The cocky guy"
I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!
i'm so happy that there is a zoolander appreciation thread..I love this movie SO MUCH!
My favorite part is when Mugatu is showing Derek the hypnosis video and he screams "Obey My Dog!" :lol:
Another awesome part is when they are trying to get into the computer..."the files are in the computer" hahah!
ah yes. the outtakes are classic :lol:
Derek: God?
Maury: God? What the shite are you talkin' about. It's me, Maury.
"Do you collect comics? I'm just a regular kid"
*licks obscenely large lollipop*
Just that phrase killed me on the outtakes.
I wish Will Ferrell was still doing hilarious stuff like that instead of trying way too hard.
The Mugatu part was originally written for Andy Dick, but he couldn't do it so Will Ferrell filled in for him.
That's why that part is a little off-putting I guess, it's not a common Ferrell-role, yet still ridiculously funny.
He was great on The Ben Stiller Show.
Then again... so was Janeane Garafolo.
