Zimbabwean tour of New Zealand cancelled

As part of the invasion of all things New Zealand sports-related to Put 'Em Under Pressure ...

Zimbabwe's cricket tour of New Zealand later this year is cancelled:
http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,...3a1823,00.html

So New Zealand can tour Zimbabwe, but Zimbabwe can't tour New Zealand? Does that seem around the wrong way to anyone else?

I have designed a possible schedule should the tour be reinstated. The focus would be providing fair & close matches.

Game 1: Zimbabwe vs East Tamaki Under 16's
Game 2: Zimbabwe vs Prime Ministers XI (Comprised solely of members of Labours cabinet... Helen will captain)
Game 3: Zimbabwe vs Canterbury
Game 4: Zimbabwe vs Mark Priest
Game 5: Zimbabwe vs Australia
Game 6: Zimbabwe vs North Ponsonby Womens XI

Hell, Tim, you're on fire today, that's hysterical.

But what about the Raumati Beach Primary School Under 9s? They're a brilliant team, certainly a match for the Zimbabweans!

Only if the Raumati Beach Primary bat in reverse order... and they must play tip and run.

Can they play with a tennis ball just for the safety of little Billy with the glasses?

I didn't know Zimbabwe had a player with the first name Billy, must be new, sure that is permitted.

Maybe we should give the Zimbabweans a clinic on how to play before the tour too? Looks like they could use it.

They're even worse clowns than the Australians.

That Zim vs Aus fixture is going to be a joke! At least the other games are against respectable teams.

Well, Tim, seems the Zimbabweans weren't aware the tour was canned so we might just be using your schedule!
