I got the Instant Karma: The Campaign to Save Darfur cd yestersday.

And Im really liking Youssou N'Dour's cover of 'Jealous Guy'
Is anyone here a fan of his and could recommend which of his cd's I should check out? :)
I already know his song 'Seven Seconds' I've just been watching the performece from Live 8 with Dido.

Im starting to pick up on the African music vibe. I was browsing the World music section on itunes and I saw a 34 song set from The African Children's Choir for £7.99. So I might get that too :hmm:

Thanky

I dont know too much about his music but when I hear it I like it.

I bought the One Giant Leap CD a few years ago during a World Music phase of mine. I think he might be on that.

Is anyone better qualified to point us in the right direction?

7 Seconds with Neneh Cherry is beautiful! Don't know anything else by him!

for me it was one of those songs where you know part of the lyrics, rhtym or beat. but you cant put your finger on it.
then when you research an artist, you find out that its their song

I saw him at the Rostock concert, he did some solo songs and after that the songs with Bono and Bob. I liked it very much. He's also an activist these days. But I must admit, that I do not own any of his music.
