Yes, another amazing thread amongst the lines of 'What are you listing to right now' and 'Name the albums you've just bought'. Share with us what's on your wishlist.

Over the Rhine - Ohio
Beth Gibbons/Rustin Man - Out of Season
Groove Armada - Lovebox
The Cure - Faith (still don't have this one :reject: )
Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain

Maybe more to come later... :hmm:

well, I've bought about 10 cd's the last 2 weeks and I really am going to save lots of money now instead of buying countless albums, but:
* Radio Birdman - The Essential (1974-1978)
* Inxs - The Years
* Xavier Rudd - Solace
* They Might Be Giants - Flood
* Bush - The Science of Things

and possibly Ben Harper - Diamonds on the Inside

oh and I can't wait for Cut from Hunters & Collectors to finally arrive

:hmm:

world peace can wait another couple of months if it gets in the way of Cut from Hunters & Collectors to arrive here any sooner

Well, in these days of many expenses and not much money. I can only thank slsk for my music interests staying afloat, as I certainly dont have cash to run to the record shop every Tuesday like I used to.

I finally bought....

Pedro the Lion- Achilles Heel
AC Newman- The Slow Wonder
Jolie Holland- Catalpa
Josh Rouse- Feels like Nebraska

(all for 8 to 9 bucks each in the used bin)

Wishlist.....(this could get messy)

MWard- End of Amnesia
Jolie Holland- Escondida
The Mountain Goats- We shall all be healed
Air- Talkie Walkie
Iron and Wine- Our Endless Numbered Days
Sun Kill Moon- Ghosts of the Great Highway
Ted Leo and the Pharmacists- Shake the Streets
Secret Machines- Now this is nowhere
The one AM radio- a name writ in water
M83- Dead Cities, Red Seas and Lost Ghosts
Interpol- Antics

i guess thats all for now....

At the top of my list right now are Idlewild - The Remote Part and Matchbox 20 - More Than You Think You Are

the bruisers - cruisin' for a bruisin' (re-release with video footage)

idlewild - in remote part
the shins - oh! inverted world
the pogues - rum, sodomy and the lash

and let's not get into albums that will come out within the next year that i'm looking forward to getting...

The upcoming albums list I'm thinking about is in the list thread. I will focus on stuff already out here:

Fiery Furnaces - 'Gallowsbury Bark'

more trance CDs (especially the one HLG mentioned)
Atom and His Package - (possibly all his albums, I want the live one the most right now)
Portishead - both albums
The Wrens - 'Meadowlands'
Sisters of Mercy - best of
The Jesus and Mary Chain - best of
Echo and the Bunnymen - best of
Bouncing Souls - the albums I dont have
The Clash - live album (From Here to Eternity?)
Blackstar - whatever their album is called
Low - more albums by them, I dont know what
Soul Coughing - best of
Morphine - best of
Tiger Army - their first 2 albums
The Killers - whatever their album is called
Belle and Sebastian - whatever their newest album was called, Catastrophe Waitress?
Autechre - 'Amber'
Opeth - 'Deliverance' & 'Damnation'

Deftones - 'White Pony'

I'll probably never get most of these albums. And when I go to used CD stores, I cant think of a single thing I even want.

SSX3 Soundtrack

I remember you (I think) posted a link to a site which had audio of this. I went looking for the real cd a while ago and found it. It's a double and has all the tracks, which dont always apear on that list on the site. Stuff like the Chilli Peppers etc.

I do really want this one one day.

HeartlandGirl got it when I was in Oklahoma. We drove around and listened to the whole thing one night, it was awesome

Seriously, I was really impressed.

You should get it, AH. I like it a lot! Although I do have snowboarding flashbacks when I listen to it... :shifty:

Do you listen to it and recall which peak each song features on?
I know I would do that.
:sadpatheticnolifer:

:D

I mainly thought of which uber-tricks would be better to do while listening to each song

Dear Rahzel,

If you werent in The Roots, I'd hate you. No, I will not try another trick.

Sincerely,

Me.

I recall saying something to mofo to the effect of "I think this song was played on one of the halfpipe courses..."

P.S. Bronze those thumbs!

I forgot all about those

Has a general release date been announced on either of them?

Well I need to pick up some Neil Young...not sure what, but I have to get some soon!

Just pre-ordered JAMMED by The Church. Looking forward to hearing that.

Looking very forward to Beside Yourself by The Church. It should be released sometime this yeah (I hope!). B-sides and such (hence the name!). Has five paintings by SK as the cover...too cool!

Vast Halos by Hex I just got the self titled Hex CD and I love it, so Vast Halos is next.

Still need to pick up the self titled Remy Zero CD too.

Woohoo!! This is my 300th post on Interference! (I'm easy to amuse.)
