Yeah... Manye people (including Stipe) don't like this song. I do, it's catchy but different.

It's been awhile since I've listened to R.E.M. regularly. Back in my early teen years, they were my favorite band besides U2. I could only narrow it down to 11.

1. (Don't Go Back to) Rockville
2. Electrolite
3. Find the River
4. Tongue
5. Nightswimming
6. Sweetness Follows
7. Disturbance At the Heron House
8. Daysleeper
9. Driver 8
10. Me In Honey
11. I Don't Sleep, I Dream

6. Sitting Still
7. The Great Beyond
8. Daysleeper
9. Binky the Doormat
10. Leave

I'm not so sure about 9 & 10, but I was blanking and I have to get back to work, so I just threw them in there.
This is a good list although I'd replace 8, 9 and 10 with with Country Feedback, Finest Worksong and Sweetness Follows.

I also love I Believe and These Days and might have to think about it some more. They have too many good songs.

Some bizarre lists, its an amazing thing. REM are a band who can write songs some people will adore more than anything while some will find it unlistenable. This isn't easy.

2. E-Bow The Letter
3. Exhuming McCarthy
4. Imitation Of Life
5. I've Been High
6. Sweetness Follows
7. Aftermath
8. Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight
9. Moral Kiosk
10. Shiny Happy People
