Your Top 5... (the High Fidelity thread)

We were playing "Top 5" at the office today, and I think we once had a thread like this, but I couldn't find it, so I'm starting a new one.

Post your top 5 music list. Anything music-related welcome.

I'll start with one I came up with at work--top 5 U2 songs, 1st 3 albums only:

5.) Surrender
4.) Rejoice
3.) New Year's Day
2.) I Will Follow
1.) Out of Control

Ok pax, this was tough, but here's mine:
1. Sunday Bloody Sunday
2. Tomorrow
3. I Will Follow
4. New Year's Day
5. 40

Seconds and Two Hearts would be six and seven, and The Ocean would be eight just for its lyrics being prophetic. Cool thread!

It doesn't have to be just what I came up with--it can be any music-related top 5.

2. Kajagoogoo - Too Shy
3. Wham! - The Edge of Heaven
4. Dead Or Alive - You Spin Me Round
5. The Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star

I think...

I like that song .

thesuburbskill, I agree, "Atmosphere" would definitely be a good funeral song. And speaking of Nick Cave and them, I heard another song by them recently. Can't remember what the name of it was right now, but it wasn't bad .
