Gltichy electronica, if done right, can be one of the most rewarding experiences you can have, musically.

enter Schneider TM.

This stuff of pure gold. It's like pop music forced out through a computer.
Reality Check and Masters

Reality check is so fucking good

check out some videos. The one for Frogtoise is crazy
there's a cover of There is a Light that never goes out
called light 3000
videos

check out the albums Zoomer and moist. It's brilliant stuff

Pitchfork:
Two years on, it's clear that "The Light 3000" will be seen as something of a landmark in the small, cloistered world of IDM. This clever cover essentially expanded the emotional range of the genre, showing that quirky, abstract electronic production could be integrated seamlessly into a pop context. By dressing up a familiar tune in vibrant electronic tones, Schneider TM showed that glitchy electronic pop could evoke nostalgia, express sadness and longing, and give the head-nodding set something to sing along to.

...
When you've been listening to a lot of abstract electronic music and you're hoping for a bit more melody, this is exactly what you want to hear.

Have you checked out the band Hazard and their album Land? I hear great things about it.

Four Tet is not glitch but pretty sublime as well if you ask me.

foray

four tet is nothing like it

this is pop music, that is post-rockish electronica

Ok, I will most definitely be downloading 'Light 3000' after watching that video

Reality Check wasnt bad either, I'll have to listen to it more.

I like them a lot too. the last album was great

however, this is sadly not a four tet thread
